Here at “Stratton Lodge”, which is a small luxury guest house, we have many pupils stay with us, which is booked personally or through the A Team Driving School.

A warm welcome awaits all our guests and young A Team pupils, who will soon feel at ease and at home. Every effort is made to ensure a comfortable and relaxed stay.

All our rooms are well equipped, ensuite with bath or shower, TV (some with DVD), fridge and very high standard of décor. Should you require a hairdryer, iron, trouser press, please just ask. Fresh towels daily, shampoo, bath gels, soaps, etc, will all be found in your bathroom, (don’t worry if you forget your toothbrush, razor etc, we have new ones for your convenience).

Breakfast is continental and laid in your room so you can awake and eat at your leisure, which the youngsters usually like if there are lessons later in the day; they can lie in!

In the fridge there is fresh juice, milk, water, yogurt, chocolate, jams and butter. On the table is a selection of cereals, breakfast bars, croissants, rolls, fresh fruit, etc.

Courtesy Tray consists of tea, coffee, biscuits, cake and mints. You won’t go hungry!

Just a minute down the road they will find a nice, friendly pub which does delicious home-made food at very reasonable prices. A 10-minute walk and there is a 6 screen cinema and top name shops, well known chain bars, a gym and, just across the road is a bus stop and chemist. In the other direction a 5-minute walk will bring you to a chip shop, pizzeria and general store.

Should they wish to bring a lap top there is internet access throughout the house.

Should you have any questions regarding your youngsters stay, please feel free to call me on 01793 633553.

Instructors at the A Team Driving School, al of whom I have met, are friendly and professional.

Youngsters tell me, not only do they learn to drive, they have lots of fun along the way. I’m told they often get to chat with other pupils about their driving, etc, during their breaks.

I hope I have put your minds at rest. Being a parent and grandparent myself, I know how important it is to feel your children are staying in a nice, comfortable, safe and clean guest house, especially as its possibly their first time away from home. (Anyway, you may be glad someone else is picking up their crisp packets for a few days!!)
